Redmi Turbo 5 Max confirmed joining CN¥2.5K segment in China this month

Xiaomi is set to unveil the Redmi Turbo 5 Max this month in China, where it is expected to dominate the CN¥2,500 price segment.

The Turbo 5 series has been the center of rumors in the past few months. Now, the Chinese brand has finally announced its upcoming arrival. Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing confirmed it would be launched this month in China. The executive also enthused over the device, which he underscored could be “the best choice in the 2.5K price range for 2026.”

Earlier reports mostly focused on the vanilla Turbo 5 and the Turbo 5 Pro, which are rumored to house the Dimensity 8500 and Dimensity 9500 chips, respectively. 

According to earlier reports, the Pro model also offers a 9000mAh battery, a 100W charging speed, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and full water resistance. The standard is also believed to offer a battery with a capacity of over 9000mAh, 100W charging, a flat 1.5K LTPS display with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, metal side frames, a thickness of 8.5mm, and full waterproof protection.
