Alleged design renders of the Xiaomi 18 Pro have emerged online, giving us a glimpse of its camera lens placements and AI button.
The Xiaomi 18 series is now under development ahead of its anticipated launch in the second half of the year. As per reports, the lineup will again include Pro models, which are expected to adopt their predecessors’ famous rear display feature.
An image now circulating online appears to corroborate speculation about the Xiaomi 18 Pro’s secondary display. Its rear screen is located in the upper section of its back and will feature circular cutouts for the camera lenses.
Another photo also shows that the phone is equipped with an AI button on its side frame. The news follows an earlier leak that said the phone’s rear display will offer some AI capabilities.

According to reports, the Xiaomi 18 Pro will feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip, a battery with a starting capacity of 7000mAh, 100W wired charging, and wireless charging. It is also rumored to offer two 200MP cameras, likely the primary and periscope lens. The phone is also said to have micro capabilities. Yet, as per an earlier report, it will feature a less powerful periscope camera with only 85mm focal length (vs. 17 Pro’s 50MP periscope telephoto unit with a 115mm focal length). As such, instead of the 5x optical zoom, we expect the next Xiaomi Pro series models to only offer 3x optical zoom.
