SD 8 Elite Gen 5-armed OnePlus 15, iQOO 15 India debut confirmed

The OnePlus 15 and iQOO 15 have been confirmed to come to India soon. The brands also shared that both phones would be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.

Both models are expected to launch in China next month, so their global launch is expected to happen after that.

According to earlier leaks and reports, the OnePlus model has the same design as the OnePlus 13s and 13t. Its colorways are reportedly named Dune, Absolute Black, and Mist Purple. It will arrive in five configurations: 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB. The OnePlus 15 is also rumored to be coming with a lower price tag, with a tip saying the brand is planning a new approach to attract buyers.

Meanwhile, the iQOO 15 will still have a similar design to its predecessor but will be available in a color-changing colorway. The base of its camera island also sports LED. According to reports, the iQOO model could also experience a price hike due to the upgrades the brand is introducing. One includes its camera department, which is now rumored to be getting a periscope unit that its predecessor is missing. Moreover, the phone is said to feature the “most expensive” 2K Samsung flat display, which has “a hardware quality comparable to the iPhone 17 Pro Max’s.” The phone is also expected to arrive with wireless charging support.

Other rumored specs of the iQOO model include a 16GB max RAM option, a 1TB max storage option, a 50MP 1/1.5″ main camera, a 7000mAh battery, 100W charging, and dual speakers.
