Why is android updates have been coming late

I bought this phone a year ago and still no Android 12 .and all other updates are in a very slow move .so why should i ever buy your Xiaomi products again, My thoughts are guess i never will.

I am using it from 8 months on first day of purchase phone was hanging. Touch was not working after restarting issue fixed .but happened several times.i expected android 12 will fix the hanging issue but after updating stll hanging.1st time i purchased Xiaomi phone and regretting on my decision.worst camera performance. 4k video not supporting. Volte not supporting in Dubai. UFS 2.0 storage speed too much slow Too much bugs in firmware. Model 2201116si
