The Vivo S2 FE finally has a launch date in India.
Following several leaks about the model, the Chinese brand has finally announced that the phone will go official on October 6.
The company also teased its design, confirming an earlier leak showing that it features a square camera island and a green colorway. The phone is also expected to come in a blue variant.
According to rumors, the S2 series phone will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chip, LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, a 6.83” 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED, a 50MP main camera, a 32MP selfie camera, a 10,000mAh battery, 44W charging, and IP68/69 ratings. The phone is also said to be priced under ₹40,000 ($417) in India.
If the specs look familiar, it is because the Vivo S2 FE is believed to be a rebaged Vivo V80 Lite 5G variant we first saw in Malaysia.
To recall, the phone features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chip, a 6.83″ 2800 × 1260px AMOLED display with an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, a dual-camera setup (50MP + 2MP), a 32MP selfie camera, Android 16-based OriginOS 6, IP68/69 ratings, and reverse charging support. It is available in Malaysia in Black, Green, and Pink. It comes in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB, priced at MYR 1,399 (346) and MYR1,899(470), respectively.
