Vivo has finally launched V30 and V30 in India. With this, fans of the brand can now pre-order the models starting at Rs. 33999.
The new models join the lineup of Vivo offerings in the smartphone market, with both smartphones being advertised as camera-focused creations from the company. As the smartphone manufacturer noted in earlier reports, it has continued its partnership with ZEISS to offer the German company’s lenses to its smartphone users once again.
In its unveiling, the company finally revealed the essential specifications of the models. To start, the base V30 model comes with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ OLED display offering a 120Hz refresh rate. This will be complemented by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset alongside a max 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. As expected, the camera of V30 is impressive as well, thanks to its rear dual-camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Its front camera is also armed sufficiently with a 50MP sensor with autofocus.
Of course, the V30 Pro has a better set of features and hardware. As shared before, unlike its sibling, the Pro model has a trio of rear cameras consisting of 50MP primary and secondary sensors that both have OIS and another 50MP sensor as its ultrawide. The selfie camera, on the other hand, boasts a 50MP lens. Inside, the smartphone houses the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, with its maximum configuration offering 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. As for its display, users get a 6.78-inch Full HD+ OLED panel. Additionally, the company earlier claimed that V30 Pro’s 5,000mAh battery “remains above 80% even after 1600 charge-discharge cycles, maintaining a battery lifespan of four years.” If it is true, this should exceed Apple’s claim that the iPhone 15 battery health can stay at 80% after 1000 cycles, which is double the 500 full charging cycles of the iPhone 14.
The models are now available for pre-orders in Vivo online stores, partner retail stores, and Flipkart, albeit the sales will start on March 14. As usual, the prices of the unit depend on the configuration chosen.
