Vivo V40 Pro receives NBTC certification ahead of debut

The Vivo V40 Pro will soon launch globally. Recently, the device was spotted on Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) website carrying the V2347 model number.

This is the same identification spotted in the past when the device made an appearance on one of the UK’s carrier websites. The listing does not show the details of the phone’s specifications, but it directly confirms the monicker of the device with the said model number.

Nonetheless, based on the listing of the device that was spotted days ago, it would be available in two variants, with one supporting NFC. As for its other details, it is believed to be a rebranded Vivo S19 Pro, which was launched recently.

If true, it could adopt most of the features present in the Vivo S19 Pro, including: 

  • 164.1 x 75 x 7.6mm dimensions
  • 192g weight
  • 4nm Mediatek Dimensity 9200+
  • 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/512GB configurations
  • 6.78” AMOLED with 4500 nits of peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1260 x 2800 pixels resolution
  • Rear: 50MP wide (f/1.9, 1/1.56″) with OIS, 50MP telephoto (f/1.9) with OIS and 2x optical zoom, and 8MP ultrawide (f/2.2)
  • Selfie: 50MP wide (f/2.0) with AF
  • 5500mAh battery
  • 80W wired charging
  • Gray, Green, and Light Blue colors
  • OriginOS 4
