Vivo demos X Fold 6’s OriginOS 6 Fold, Parallel Mode, Atomic Workbench

Ahead of X Fold 6’s arrival in India, Vivo has showcased the foldable’s productivity features.

The book-style foldable will launch in India soon. In its latest move, the brand flaunted the X Fold 6 live, showing fans how OriginOS 6 Fold perfectly complements it. To start, it supports the Parallel Mode, which lets the phone run four apps/windows simultaneously on its spacious screen.

According to Vivo, it made detailed adjustments to the OriginOS 6 Fold to ensure the foldable functions operate optimally at all times, even when running multiple apps simultaneously.

The company has also revealed its Atomic Workbench feature. One of its main capabilities is to run four AI assistants simultaneously. Instead of working as a standalone AI chatbot app, this feature provides multiple AI tools that can work alongside your standard apps, letting you generate text, summarize information, or get real-time assistance.

Earlier reports claimed the Vivo X Fold 6 would be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor and a 7000mAh+ battery. It is also reportedly coming with an 8.02″ 2K foldable internal display, while its front boasts a 6.51″ cover display. There will be two 20MP selfie cameras, one external and one internal. Its main camera system will allegedly include a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto. Ultimately, there will be full water resistance. To recall, the X Fold 5 features IP5X, IPX8, IPX9, and IPX9+ ratings.
