Despite its affordability, the Vivo Y600i offers a massive battery and robust protection against the elements.
Vivo added the new model to the Y600 series, which already offers the Y600 Turbo and Y600 Pro, among others. Though not as grand as its siblings, it is still a worthy opponent in its own market segment.
Priced at CN¥1,999 ($300), the phone features a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, which is paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with the latter expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.
It offers a 6.87″1592 x 720px 120Hz LCD with an 8MP selfie camera in front, while its back houses a 50MP main camera that sits inside a rectangular camera island.
As mentioned before, it has a huge 8000mAh battery that supports 44W wired charging and reverse charging. It also has IP68 and IP69 ratings, as well as an SGS five-star drop-resistance certification.
Other highlights of the phone are its OriginOS 6-based Android 16, an AI-powered anti-fraud protection feature, and three colorways (Stardust, Sky Blue, and Midnight Black).
It will go on sale in China on September 30.
