The Xiaomi 17 Max will be officially unveiled in China this week.
Following earlier reports and leaks, the Chinese giant has finally announced that the Max model will be launched on May 21.
As earlier reported, it will feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a 6.9″ 2K display, and a huge 8000mAh battery. In the camera department, the handheld houses a trio of cameras on its back. It comes with a 200MP Leica main camera, joined by a 50MP ultrawide and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.
According to earlier reports, the phone will also feature a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, LIPO tech for ultra-thin display bezels, 100W wired and 50W wireless charging speeds, and full water resistance. Leaks also previously specified its camera system, which allegedly includes a 200MP 1/1.4″ Samsung ISOCELL HPE main camera and a 50MP 1/1.95″ Sony IMX8-series periscope telephoto lens.
