Xiaomi has once again published new images to underscore the power of its Xiaomi 17 Ultra model. This time, however, the brand wants to focus on the phone’s periscope telephoto unit.
The upcoming Xiaomi flagship is expected to challenge rival models once it debuts in China this Christmas Day. Previously, the company shared several photo samples highlighting the device’s portrait and low-light capabilities. Now, it is back to show us more photos taken using its periscope camera.

The new photos are compared side by side with the images taken using two unnamed smartphones. The device employs a 1/1.4″ 200MP telephoto sensor with Leica’s touch.
The series of images shows off the handheld’s 3x-4.3x (75mm to 100mm) continuous optical zoom by shooting at 85mm, 90mm, and 100mm focal lengths. In general, compared to the two other competitors, Xiaomi 17 Ultra’s work delivered better color reproduction and brightness, which might be possible through its LOFIC ultra-high dynamic range technology.
The brand also shared more photos to further support its claim about the device’s powerful night photography capability. Here are some of them:
