According to a new tip, the Xiaomi 18 Pro will get a larger 4-inch rear display with better specifications.
The Xiaomi 18 series will launch in September. As previously reported, the next Pro models will also feature rear displays that will reportedly offer new capabilities, including AI features.
In a new claim from tipster Smart Pikachu, the secondary screens will allegedly measure 4 inches and feature rounded corners. It is also expected to have higher resolution and higher brightness. The account also says that there will be a privacy protection feature. To recall, the Xiaomi 17 Pro series in China currently supports Stealth Mode in the rear screen, and the next series is rumored to get a Samsung Privacy Display-like feature via HyperOS 4.
The series is reportedly coming with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip. In other areas, the Pro Max model will feature a 200MP main camera with a 1/1.28″ sensor and support for new-generation LOFIC technology. It will be complemented by a 200MP 1/1.56″ telephoto sensor with a 3x± focal length and an F2.4± aperture.
We also heard that the Pro model will have a battery with a starting capacity of 7000mAh, supporting 100W wired charging and wireless charging. The device is also said to offer two 200MP cameras, likely the primary and periscope lens.
