Xiaomi will launch a bunch of products in China at its upcoming May 24th, 2022 event, including Xiaomi Band 7, Redmi Note 11T lineup and Redmi Buds 4 Pro. Xiaomi Band 7 will be one of them, it will launch as a successor of Xiaomi Band 6 and is expected to offer some fresh upgrades compared to its predecessor. The gadget is now up for pre-reservation in China.
Xiaomi Band 7 up of reservation
The upcoming Xiaomi Band 7 is now available for pre-order in China via the country’s largest e-commerce platform, JD.com. The product’s landing page is now live, and reservations are already available for the product, with an appointment deadline of May 31st. This also implies that the new product will be officially launched one week after its initial release. Before the official release, interested buyers can go ahead and pre-reserve a unit for themselves.
The price of the Band 7 was already leaked online before the official announcement or launch event. The Band 7 will be priced at CNY 269 in China, according to the leak (USD 40). However, this is the price of the Band 7 NFC variant; there may be a non-NFC variant that is cheaper than the NFC version.
In both NFC and non-NFC models, the Mi Band 7 will have a blood oxygen level sensor and an AMOLED screen with a 1.56 inch 490192 resolution. Expect a long battery life because the battery will be 250mAh, which is sufficient for a device that uses almost no power. Xiaomi founder Lei Jun previously stated that the upcoming Xiaomi Band 7’s screen will be greatly upgraded, with a 1.62-inch AMOLED display that increases the viewing area by 25%.
