Xiaomi has a lot of devices under it’s belt, ranging from normal things like smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches, to other things such as IoT devices like routers. Xiaomi has finally released the updated list for their End-of-Life devices. So, let’s take a look.
Xiaomi End of Life devices – device list & more
We previously reported on the other Xiaomi devices that will not be getting any updates. Xiaomi updates their list of end of life devices every now and then, and the new list includes a lot of devices that people still use. So, let’s see the new devices were added to the list.
- Redmi Note 7 (lavender)
- Redmi Note 7 Pro (violet)
- Redmi GO (tiare)
The complete list includes more devices, so here’s an image of the complete list of devices that are no longer included, but the Redmi Note 7 series and Redmi GO are the most recent additions to the Xiaomi end of life devices list.
These Xiaomi end of life devices will no longer be getting any updates, including security and MIUI interface updates, and most importantly, Android platform updates. So, you’ll be stuck on the version of Android on your device forever. If you own one of these devices, we recommend you get a new device for your own security and the security of your data and privacy. Though, if you know your way around the Android system, you could flash a custom ROM on your device.
