4 Huawei Mate 80 series models’ cam, display, battery details tipped ahead of tentative Nov. debut

The Huawei Mate 80 series is reportedly coming with four models in November. In line with this, a tipster revealed the details of the devices’ cameras, batteries, and displays.

That’s according to the latest claim made by reputable leaker Digital Chat Station. According to the account, however, the launch timeline is still tentative, so it could change in the coming weeks.

On a positive note, DCS shared that four models would be included in the lineup. While the tip didn’t specifically name the phones, they are presumed to be the Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro+, and Mate 80 RS.

The account also revealed details about the phones’ cameras. According to him, the vanilla and Pro models will employ 50MP 1/1.5″ and 50MP 1/1.3″ main cameras. The Pro+ and RS models, on the other hand, are rumored to come with a 50MP 1/1.3″ SmartSens 590 sensor.

As for their displays, the Pro variant is said to be coming with a 2.5D flat display. For the Mate 80 Pro+ and Mate 80 RS, DCS noted that there’s still no official decision for their displays, but flat 2.5D and 4D equal-depth displays are now being tested.

Ultimately, the account seemingly echoed earlier reports that the series will be powered by the Kirin 9030 chip. The lineup’s battery, on the other hand, reportedly starts at 6000mAh. The tipster also shared that some new features would be coming to the phones.
