Vivo confirmed that the Vivo X300 series can also work with the Zeiss 2.35x telephoto teleconverter kit we first saw in the X200 Ultra model.
The Vivo X300 series will be launched on October 13. Ahead of the date, the brand continues to unveil the main highlights of the X300 and X300 Pro gradually.
The company’s latest revelation focuses on the phones’ camera capabilities. According to Vivo, both models can complement the X200 Ultra’s teleconverter photography kit.
The brand shared that in addition to the black variant of the teleconverter, it will also offer a new silver option. Vivo also noted that the accessory can handle landscapes, candid shots, portraits, professional scenes, and more.
To recall, the standalone external telephoto lens was created with the help of ZEISS. It will enhance the camera system by offering a 200MP sensor with a 200mm focal length, an f/2.3 aperture, and an 8.7x optical zoom. Vivo also shared that the detachable lens has 800mm equivalent (35x) zoom and a maximum of 1600mm (70x) digital zoom.
According to earlier reports, the Pro model will feature a 50MP 1/1.28″ LYT828 HPB main camera. The lens is complemented by a 50MP ultrawide and a 200MP 1/1.4″ 85mm HPB LYT602 periscope, the latter reportedly supporting a telephoto macro function. The camera system is also tipped to feature Zeiss T* coating, which should prevent glare issues, and CIPA 5.5 OIS. The X300 Pro also utilizes a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, which is accompanied by a Vivo V3+ chip. It also gets ultrasonic fingerprint 2.0 support.
The vanilla model, meanwhile, is rumored coming with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500, a Vivo V3 chip, a 6.31″ flat 1.5K + 120Hz LTPO BOE Q10+ display with LIPO tech for thin bezels, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint 2.0 scanner, a trio of rear cameras (200MP HPB 1/1.4″ main camera + 50MP ultrawide + 50MP LYT602 1/2″ periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom and macro function), a 50MP selfie camera, 90W wired charging, wireless charging, and a USB 3.2 connectivity.
