Redmi K90 Ultra design, built-in cooling fan confirmed ahead of June 30 debut

Xiaomi has revealed the design and built-in fan feature of the Redmi K90 Ultra ahead of its upcoming arrival.

The Redmi model will be announced next Tuesday. After earlier leaks and teasers, the Chinese giant has finally shared the device’s full design.

According to the poster, the phone adopts the same look as the Redmi K90 Max, which also features a horizontal rectangular camera island. The module itself houses two lenses on the left, while the right section sports air outlets, confirming it has a built-in fan.

Redmi says the phone uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Together with the cooling system, the device is said to be capable of delivering stable frame rates in a 3D game set at the highest display setting for 60 minutes.

According to earlier reports, the Redmi K90 Ultra will feature 100W wired charging, an 8500mAh battery, a built-in active cooling fan, a 1.5K OLED with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and IP68/IP69 ratings. Xiaomi’s Lu Weibing also shared previously that the phone would still join the CN¥3000 segment. To recall, the Remi K80 Ultra debuted at a base price of CN¥2,599, with its top-of-the-line variant costing CN¥3,799.
