Honor has shared a photo of the Honor Robot Phone’s Camera interface, revealing some of its interesting features.
The Honor model is now available for pre-order in China ahead of its expected August debut. Following several teasers involving the phone’s design, the brand is now back to showcasing its Camera app’s interface.
According to the image, the device will feature a Master Cinema mode, believed to be co-created with ARRI. With this capability, it should be able to capture professional-grade 10-bit HDR footage with a flatter, wider dynamic range and more color and shadow detail.
The photo also shows a joystick-like button on the interface, instead of the usual shutter button. This is believed to allow users to control the gimbal-armed main camera to focus on certain subjects.
The ARRI-powered camera system reportedly features a 200MP f/1.6 23mm main camera, echoing earlier reports of a built-in gimbal. The said lens is paired with a 50MP ultrawide and a 200MP periscope telephoto unit. The main highlight of the system is its 4D gimbal stabilization, featuring 360° rotation tracking and intelligent camera movement at 90° and 180°. It is also expected to deliver a CIPA 5.5-level image stabilization with a 96% walking-shake compensation rate. According to reports, the Honor Robot Phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. Its display measures only 6.3 to 6.4 inches and boasts a 1.5K resolution and extremely thin bezels.
