Render leaks show Xiaomi Mix Fold 5 inner display, HyperOS 4 features

A new leak has revealed some details fans can expect from the upcoming HyperOS 4-powered Xiaomi Mix Fold 5.

The Xiaomi foldable has been making the rounds online in the past few months, with a recent claim saying it will launch earlier than the Xiaomi 18 series. Now, after an alleged leak of its live unit, a set of design renders of the phone have surfaced online in China.

In a now-deleted post from tipster Panda is Bald, the images show the phone’s main display with rounded corners. It also confirms that the internal selfie camera is located in the upper right corner of the foldable screen.

The most interesting part of the leak, though, is the phone’s HyperOS 4 system. According to the photos, the system will underscore the use of liquid glass elements for the interface. The images also show the phone’s Super Xiao AI Expert and connected devices management central control features.

Some of the details expected from the phone include a 7.5 to 7.6-inch display, a 200MP main camera, a 6000mAh battery, wireless charging support, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and Xring O3. Sadly, according to the latest claim from Digital Chat Station, it will be priced higher upon its arrival. It will be priced around CN¥10,000 ($1,477) in China. To recall, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 launched at CN¥8,999 ($1,329).
