Honor has revealed the official design of the Honor Magic 9 series and announced that it will support teleconverter lenses.
The series will launch on September 28 in China. Amid the wait, the brand released the first poster for the Magic 9 series, which features a rectangular camera island with three protruding circular modules.
One of the three circular elements houses the telephoto unit, which supports 500mm/200mm telephoto extenders. The tool will further boost the camera system’s already impressive capabilities, with Honor confirming a 200MP 1/1.28″ main camera with an f/1.57 aperture and a 200MP 1/1.4″ telephoto with an f/2.6 aperture.
As expected, the series also adopted the ARRI tech, which Honor first introduced in its AI-armed Honor Robot Phone.
The phone in the poster showcases a Moss Green shade with a sectional design. In front, the phone can be seen sporting thin bezels and a pill-shaped selfie camera.
According to earlier leaks, some of the details fans can expect from the Honor Magic 9 series include a 6.8″ flat 1.5K 2.5D LTPO display, an 8000mAh+ battery, 3D face recognition support, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, wireless charging, full-level water resistance, a 200MP 1/1.28″ OIS main camera, a 200MP 1/1.4″ periscope telephoto, and 2nm Snapdragon flagship chips.
The series is now available for pre-order in China.
