Honor reportedly preparing model with 11,000mAh battery

Reputable leaker Digital Chat Station claims that Honor has been working on an 11,000mAh smartphone.

Various smartphone makers are now focusing on increasing the battery capacity of their devices. Over a year ago, the industry welcomed a 6100mAh model, and since then, brands have continued to increase the size of the cells in their phones.

Honor is one of the companies heavily investing in the batteries of their handhelds. Months ago, it introduced the Honor Power 2 and the Honor Win series, with the former offering a 10080mAh battery.

Now, according to DCS, the brand is preparing a model with a 10,690mAh rated capacity and a typical value of 11,000mAh.

The phone’s moniker was not mentioned in the post, but it could be a successor to one of the aforementioned models. To recall, the Power 2 houses a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite chip and a 10080mAh battery with 80W charging and 27W wired reverse charging. The Honor Win, on the other hand, has a 10000mAh battery with 100W wired charging, 80W wireless charging, 27W wired reverse charging, and wireless reverse charging support.
