Official: Honor Win, Win RT built-in fans can be turned on, off

Honor has once again showcased the Honor Win series ahead of its debut. Meanwhile, one brand official shared that the fans in the phones can be turned on and off automatically.

The new Honor phones are set to be unveiled on December 26. In line with this, following an earlier tease, the company has finally released the first official posters of the devices, confirming their design.

As previously shared, the Win and Win RT models feature a built-in fan system, indicating they are designed for gaming. The placement of the fans is the most interesting part, as they are located in the camera island at the back panel.

When asked about the details, Lin Lin, Head of the Honor China Smart Life Business Department, shared that the fans can be turned on and off.  The official also stated that the brand will not introduce versions without fans.

According to earlier reports, the vanilla Honor Win is expected to arrive with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, while the Honor Win RT is rumored to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. While both are rumored to come with a 6.8″ 1.5K OLED, one of the two models could house a huge 10,000mAh battery with 100W charging.
