A few days ago, the new addition in Xiaomi’s flagship series, Mi Mix 4 (2106118C / K8 model number, odin codenamed) passed Tenaa certification where the device was mentioned to have two RAM variants 8GB and 12GB with 256GB of storage as well as having dual 5G sims with Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) technology. This can be a gesture that Mi Mix 4’s China launch can be expected sooner rather than later, probably in August itself. A global launch may follow afterwards but as of now there is no information on the subject.
Apart from this we have information on a few specifications of this phone:
– Codename: odin
– ROM code: KM
– MIUI version V12.5.2.0.RKMCNXM out of the box (may change soon)
– Internally being tested with MIUI 13
– Snapdragon 888 or 888+
-Camera module: 108MP HMX Wide, 48 MP Ultra Wide, 48MP 5X Telemacro
– Ultra-wideband (uwb) support
– 20:9 aspect ratio display, 2400x1080p resolution with 90hz refresh rate and an under display front camera
Internal details suggest that the device is ready for launch since June 2021 but was delayed due to under panel camera (UPC) optimisation, which the brand has been working on for quite some time and Mi Mix 4 is looking to be the first Xiaomi phone to have this new technology.
We will update you with more details as further development happens.
