Bad news: the Nothing Phone (4a) has again been hit with another price increase in India.
The Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro debuted in March, and the brand has introduced price adjustments to them in recent months. Following a June hike, the London-based company has now increased the price of the vanilla model again.
According to its Flipkart listing, the phone’s 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB options now cost ₹42,999 (from ₹39,999) and ₹46,999 (from ₹43,999), respectively. Interestingly, its 12GB/256GB variant costs ₹40,999 on the platform, but a tipster claims that it will be raised from its current ₹46,999 price to ₹49,999.
The news reflects the current move by several smartphone brands to cope with the ongoing memory crisis in the industry, driven by the AI boom. To recall, an earlier report suggested that Nothing would even leave over 12 markets due to some market challenges. However, an executive shut down the rumor, claiming the brand is actually “reorganizing.”
