The OnePlus 15 could arrive with a more affordable price tag. According to a leak, the move could help the brand achieve a huge goal.
The OnePlus model is expected to arrive in October alongside the Ace 6. The brand has already started teasing the phone in China, but it remains silent about its specifications and price tag. However, a recent claim hints at the possible pricing of the handheld.
While no specific numbers were mentioned, the leak says that the OnePlus 15 “will be priced significantly lower.” The tip nonetheless underscores that the brand removed the costly parts and components from the phone.
However, the model is expected to remain a powerful flagship with a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip. According to the claim, the move will follow the path of the iQOO 13, which, despite being one of the cheapest flagships in the market, still offers the high-end Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Moreover, the post suggested that OnePlus is hoping to gain the same achievements as the iQOO model, including its enormous sales, which surpassed the combined sales of the Realme GT7 Pro and OnePlus 13 in China. As per the tip, OnePlus is adopting this “performance-driven approach” for the upcoming model.
According to rumors, the OnePlus 15 will arrive in five configurations: 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB. Its colors allegedly include Black, Purple, and Titanium, and it only weighs around 215g. The brand also recently confirmed its departure from the Hasselblad partnership, so we are no longer expecting to see the branding in the phone’s camera system. Yet, OnePlus recently showcased its new in-house LUMO Condensed Light Imaging System.
