Oppo Reno 16F launching in India under different moniker

The Oppo Reno 16 series will soon arrive in India. However, unlike other global markets, the third member of the series won’t be called the Reno 16F.

Oppo is now gearing up for the global unveiling of the series, following its arrival in its domestic market. In addition to Indonesia and Malaysia, India will also receive the series, which will initially include three models.

However, unlike in Malaysia and Indonesia, which will have the Reno 16F, India will reportedly receive the Oppo Reno 16C instead.

It is important to note, nonetheless, that the two are reportedly the same. As per leaks, they will both feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip, a 6.57″ FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, a 50MP OIS main camera, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 50MP selfie camera, a 6500mAh battery with 45W charging, and an IP69 rating.

The series is also expected to include the Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro models. They are believed to feature different specs than their Chinese counterparts. For instance, both will feature compact 6.32-inch displays, unlike the versions in China, which have two different screen sizes. The Reno 16 will also be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, while the Pro will rely on the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 SoC.
