The classic custom ROM, Paranoid Android has recently received a new update, which adds a few features, increases stability and fixes a few bugs, and also adds new devices to the roster of eligible devices for the Paranoid Android Sapphire Beta 1. So, let’s take a look.
Paranoid Android Sapphire Beta 1 – new devices & more
The first Paranoid Android Sapphire Beta currently available to many devices, mostly OnePlus and Xiaomi however 5 new devices were added to the support list, with those being the following:
- OnePlus 7 Pro
- OnePlus 7T Pro
- OnePlus 7T
- POCO F2 Pro / Redmi K30 Pro
- POCO F3 / Xiaomi 11X / Redmi K40
Though the list of devices is limited to the ones mentioned in the Devices list in the official Paranoid Android website, more devices will surely be added soon.
With the new release, however, comes a new wallpaper, and as usual with the Paranoid Android Sapphire Beta 1, the Paranoid Android team have employed long time friend of theirs, Hampus Olsson. Here’s a quick glimpse.

The new features include things like a server for official builds and an improved OTA update backend, and more features that can be found in the respective threads of the supported devices. You can download Paranoid Android for your supported device here.
