Realme Neo 8 debuts with SD 8 Gen 5, 50MP periscope, 8000mAh battery, IP69 rating, more

The Realme Neo 8 is now in China, bringing a handful of impressive details, from its processor down to its protection rating. 

The new Realme device comes with several upgrades over its predecessor, including its new design. Compared to the Realme Neo 7, it features a more futuristic, intricate rear design with Awakening Halo RGB, a metal frame, and a glass body. Its color options include Cyber ​​Purple, Mecha Gray, and Origin White. In front, it boasts a display with thin bezels and a small punch-hole selfie cutout.

Inside, it also impresses, thanks to its Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, which is paired with UFS 4.1 storage and LPDDR5X RAM. It also houses a huge 8000mAh battery with 80W wired and bypass charging support.

Its camera system is led by a 50MP Sony IMX896 main sensor with OIS, which works with an 8MP ultrawide and a 50MP JN5 periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom. Other highlights of the phone include a 165Hz AMOLED and an IP69 rating.
