Nubia has finally announced the official launch date of the Red Magic 11 Pro series.
The news follows earlier leaks about the series, which is expected to include Pro and Pro+ variants. According to earlier reports, the lineup is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. It also sports a huge battery with a capacity of around 8000mAh and a flat display with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint and an under-display selfie camera.
The main highlight of the series is the water and dust-proof fan. To recall, the K13 Turbo series was first introduced with the tech. However, the Oppo models were limited to IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings. If true, this means the Red Magic 11 could offer more protection than the K13 Turbo series, which is limited to IPX ratings. To clarify, IP68 and IPX8 both have high levels of water resistance. Yet, IP68 also offers protection against dust, while IPX8 only specifies water resistance.
