Vivo S2 coming to other markets under different moniker

New leaks suggest that the new Vivo S2 will soon be rebadged as another model in other markets.

The S2 device is now in India, following seven years of waiting. The handheld features a MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chip, which is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It also has a huge 7050mAh battery and a massive 3,800mm² vapor chamber cooling system.

It has the V2576 model number on the Google Play Console device catalog. Interestingly, this same internal identification is being used by the upcoming Vivo V80 Lite 5G (alongside V2643 and V2644). This means the two devices share identities, with the Vivo V80 series model likely a rebranded Vivo S2.

If true, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G will likely borrow the details of the said phone, which, in addition to the ones mentioned above, also features a curved 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED with an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, a 32MP selfie camera, a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera, 44W wired fast charging, bypass charging, five years of security updates, IP68 and IP69 ratings, MIL-STD-810H certification, and Android 16-based OriginOS 6.
