Xiaomi intends to expand the Xiaomi 12 series with the release of the Xiaomi 12 Lite and Xiaomi 12 Ultra smartphones. These two smartphones will be the company’s latest addition to the Xiaomi 12 series. The release of this device may be getting closer as it is being listed or leaked here and there. The Xiaomi 12 Lite has now been certified by Geekbench, indicating an impending release.
Xiaomi 12 Lite listed on Geekbench
The Geekbench certification has revealed a Xiaomi smartphone with model number 2203129G. The device obtained a single-core score of 788 and a multi-core score of 2864. The results are obviously quite good for a mid-range device. The letter “G” in the model number indicates that it will be the Global variant of Xiaomi 12 Lite. It is powered by the octa-core SoC codenamed ‘Taoyao,’ which has a base frequency of 1.80GHz and a maximum frequency of 2.40GHz, according to Geekbench.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G processor is used in the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G device as well. Adreno 642L graphics are used on the chipset. The certification confirms the device’s 8GB RAM variant, which will ship with Android 12 pre-installed. It may start up immediately on MIUI 13. Internal testing of the Xiaomi 12 Lite smartphone in Asian and European markets has begun, and the device will be available soon. The Xiaomi 12 Lite’s stable test has come to an end. Xiaomi 12 Lite V13.0.0.7.SLIMIXM and V13.0.0.24.SLIEUXM versions were discovered. We previously stated that the device will be available worldwide in the coming months.
In terms of specifications, it is expected to borrow from both the Xiaomi 12 and the Xiaomi CIVI. It will have a 6.55-inch 3D curved OLED panel with a 1080*2400 resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz, as well as AOD support. Goodix powers the in-display fingerprint reader. It could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor. The Xiaomi 12 Lite features three cameras. The primary camera will be a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3.
