Just a few hours back, the Xiaomi 12S Pro MediaTek Dimensity 9000 variant was spotted on the 3C certification with the model number 2207122MC. Now, two new devices coming from the house Xiaomi has been listed up on the certification. These devices are reportedly the upcoming Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, which will launch soon in the Chinese market.
Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 and 12S bags 3C certification
Two new Xiaomi devices with the model number 2206123SC and 22061218C have been listed on the database of 3C certification. According to the reports, 2206123SC is no other than the Xiaomi 12S and 22061218C is nothing but the forthcoming Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 smartphone. The 3C certification reports that both the devices come with the same power adapter MDY-12-EF, which supports up to 67W fast wired charging. Apart from this, we have no words on the specifications and details of the upcoming smartphones.
The MIX Fold 2 will succeed the MIX Fold smartphone and will be the brand’s top-tier foldable smartphone. It will compete with smartphones such as the Samsung Z Fold and the Vivo X Fold. The device has been given the codename “Zizhan.” The device is expected to have an 8.01-inch foldable AMOLED display with LTPO screen refresh rate technology, allowing it to switch from 0 to 120Hz.
It could also have a 6.56-inch OLED cover display and be powered by the recently announced Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. Both screens may have FHD+ resolution. In terms of cameras, a triple rear camera with OIS image stabilisation technology on the primary camera is a strong possibility. According to leaks, the brand will not include stylus support in the new foldable smartphone.
