Xiaomi 13 Ultra now holds the title of having the world’s brightest phone screen with 2600 nits, surpassing the OPPO Find X6 Pro which had a 2500 nits screen and drew attention a few months ago. Xiaomi 13 Ultra has taken things up a notch.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s new display will have a resolution of 1440 x 3200 and a brightness of 2600 nits. iPhone 14 Pro has 2000 nits brightness and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has a brightness of 1750 nits.
Xiaomi has revealed that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, will no longer feature a Samsung panel like previous Xiaomi phones in Ultra series. Instead, the phone comes with a display from Huaxing. Its predecessor, Xiaomi 12S Ultra had features OLED display by Samsung. The display will support LTPO technology meaning it has variable refresh rate.
New mages revealing the design of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra were also shared by Xiaomi. The phone will come in both white and green colors and the camera area of Xiaomi 13 Ultra has a tiny bump. The primary camera will use Sony IMX 989 1-inch sensor, while the ultra-wide angle, telephoto, and periscope telephoto cameras will use Sony IMX 858 sized in 1/2.51.
Xiaomi’s launch event for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is scheduled for tomorrow, during the event Xiaomi will unveil a range of new products. Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Smart Band 8 are also part of the of products to be unveiled at the launch event.
