Xiaomi 17 Ultra coming to India, Thailand, and Singapore soon… Here’s the caveat

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to head to several global markets soon. However, as expected, there are some major differences between its Chinese and international variants.

The flagship model has been recently launched in China. Like its predecessors, the phone will also arrive on the international stage, including India (2512BPNDAI), Thailand (2512BPNDAG), and Singapore (2512BPNDAG and 25128PNA1G), where it was recently spotted on various certification websites. 

The Ultra model will be unveiled alongside the vanilla Xiaomi 17 model globally in 2026. However, unlike their Chinese counterparts, the phones are coming with smaller batteries, which is expected, as this has happened in earlier Xiaomi numbered series releases. According to reports, the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra would house 5240mAh and 6000mAh batteries, respectively.
