According to a new leak, the Xiaomi 18 and Xiaomi 18 Pro won’t debut at the same time.
Xiaomi is already working on its next flagship lineup, which is rumored to arrive in September. While we expect the series to initially include the vanilla and Pro models (due to Xiaomi’s earlier debuts), a tipster claims otherwise.
Well-known leaker Digital Chat Station states in a new tip that the phones are coming separately. The Pro model is rumored to arrive first, followed by the standard. Nonetheless, both phones are said to be available before the Chinese Spring Festival in February 2027.
The change is believed to follow Apple’s rumored plan to also introduce the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 separately, with the former coming first in September.
According to earlier reports, the vanilla model is rumored to feature a larger flat display measuring 6.4 inches. It is said to offer a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, ultra-narrow bezels, and 2K resolution. There will also be an upgraded battery, starting at 7000mAh.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro series will reportedly feature “improvements” to its rear displays. As reported earlier, the secondary screens will be bigger and have more capabilities, including AI features. The Pro devices are also expected to come with a better camera system. DCS earlier claimed that there would be two 200MP sensors, likely for the main and telephoto units.
