Today, we shared Xiaomi’s working on the Redmi Note 12 series, and now we got the charging speeds of the new smartphones. We have shared Xiaomi’s 210W charger also one month ago. Charging speeds of Redmi Note 12 series
Xiaomi claims that the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ can be fully charged using 120W charging in just 15 minutes. Xiaomi goes one step further and the best model in the Redmi Note 12 series will support 210W charging. Since it is unknown how Xiaomi will name the Redmi Note 12 series just yet, we refer to it as “best“. It might be named just like the previous series (Redmi Note 12 Pro+) but we’ll see it in future.
Xiaomi’s 210W charger (MDY-13-EU) output delivery values are 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 11V/6A Max, 17V/10.5A Max, 20V/10.5A Max.
We currently are aware of the three smartphones in the Redmi Note 12 series. They are known by their codenames ruby, rubypro, and rubyplus. The device with 22101316UC model number is the one featuring 210W charging support with MDY-13-EU charger. Another device with 22101316UC model number will have 120W charging (MDY-12-ED charger).
We don’t have the full specifications of the new phones but all three phones are likely to come with a MediaTek processor. There may be an additional phone with Snapdragon processor, but for the moment, that is all we know.
