Disable or Enable Watermark on Xiaomi Camera App
Xiaomi used to enable this feature by default on devices to increase its products popularity but after Android 7+ this feature is no longer enabled by the default on Xiaomi/Redmi/Poco devices. In Android 10 update Xiaomi implamented new features to watermark section in camera app. With new update to camera app now we could change the text to whatever we like.
In order to enable or disable the watermark on Xiaomi devices:
- Open camera app
- Tap on the three lines on the top right of the screen and enter settings
- Find “Watermark” switch and you can disable or enable it.

Remove watermark from photos with gallery app
There are a number of methods which one can resort to in order to remove the watermark from the photos. However, you do not need to look too far for the solution. Fortunately, Xiaomi offers watermark removal feature in the stock gallery app that can easily get rid of an unwanted watermark on photos. Removing camera watermark with gallery app however might not work with all devices. You may need to update the gallery app to latest release.
In order to remove the watermark from your media:
- Open Gallery and select a photo you want to remove watermark
- Tap on the edit button and you will see a “remove watermark” button
