Huawei is now offering restored units of the Huawei Pocket 2, slashing its price by over half.
To recall, the clamshell phone was introduced back in February 2024. It was originally offered in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 12GB/1TB, priced at CN¥7499, CN¥7999, and CN¥8999, respectively. Now, the Chinese giant is selling the refurbished units of the device at more affordable prices.
However, it is only available in 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB, priced at CN¥3599 and CN¥3899, respectively.
The phone is powered by the 7nm Kirin 9000S chip and features a 4520mAh battery, complemented by 66W wired fast charging, 40W wireless fast charging, and 7.5W wireless reverse charging.
The rear camera island on the Pocket 2 features a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization, a 12MP ultrawide lens, an 8MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3X optical zoom, and a 2MP AI-powered hyperspectral camera. Meanwhile, the front camera comes at 10.7MP. While the number of cameras sounds impressive, it’s worth noting that the 2MP UV sensor is more of a gimmick. Yet, the company claims it could be useful for detecting UV intensity levels.
When opened, the smartphone will give you a generous 6.94-inch 2690 x 1136 LTPO OLED main display with peak brightness of 2200 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate. At the back, next to the circular camera island, is a round secondary 1.15-inch OLED screen for quick notification viewing.
