TENAA certification images confirm earlier Motorola Razr 50 design renders, rumored details

China’s TENAA website has finally revealed the Motorola Razr 50’s actual look. The model’s certification also confirms some of its key features, including RAM, camera, and processor details.

Last week, renders of the Motorola Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra (AKA Razr 2024 and Razr Plus 2024, respectively) surfaced online. The images show that the base model will have a smaller external screen than the Pro variant. Like the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, the Razr 50 will have an unnecessary, unused space near the middle part of the back, making its screen appear smaller. Its two cameras, on the other hand, are placed within the screen space alongside the flash unit. The TENAA certification (via ITHome) for the model (XT2453-2 model number) affirms the design shown in the renders, with the model used in the listing showing a blue/purple back panel.

Aside from the design of the Razr 2024, the certification also confirms several details of the model. According to the listing, the device will be armed with a 2.5GHz octa-core chip, echoing claims that it will have a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC.

As per the listing, the Motorola Razr 50 will also have:

  • 171.3 x 73.9 x 7.2mm dimensions
  • 188g weight
  • MediaTek Dimensity 7300X
  • 8GB to 16GB RAM
  • 128GB to 1TB storage
  • 6.9” FHD+ OLED with 120Hz refresh rate
  • 50MP/13MP rear camera system arrangement
  • 32MP selfie camera
  • 4,200mAh battery
  • Fingerprint scanner support
  • NFC and dual SIM support

In related news, the model is reportedly priced at $699. If this is compared to the debut price of its predecessor, this means that the brand will not impose a hike for this year’s Razr with the rumored 8GB/256GB configuration. This follows an earlier leak about the Razr 50 Ultra model, which is also believed to retain its predecessor’s price tag. According to reports, nonetheless, it will be offered with a starting configuration of 12GB/512GB instead of last year’s 8GB/256GB base option.
