Xiaomi reveals specifications of Civi 2: Battery, display and more!

Display

Xiaomi Civi 2 will come with 6.55″ Full HD AMOLED panel with 120 Hz high refresh rate. Civi 2 has 1920 Hz PWM rating. PWM stands for pulse width modulation. Some sensitive users feel head ache while looking at the displays with PWM rate less than 250 Hz. As Xiaomi explains 1920 Hz PWM rating is measured on Civi 2 during the display is set to low brightness.

Battery

We have shared that Civi 2 will feature 67W fast charging but previosly battery capacity was unknown to us. Xiaomi reveals the battery capacity of Civi 2, it packs 4500 mAh of battery. It’s great that Xiaomi fit 4500 mAh into a body with 7.23mm thickness. According to Xiaomi it charges completely in 40 minutes.

Snapdragon 7 Gen 1

Civi 2 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, which is the successor to Snapdragon 780G. It features  2.4 GHz 1 Cortex-A710, 2.36 GHz 3 Cortex-A710 and 1.8GHz 4 Cortex-A510 cores. It has 4th Gen Qualcomm X62 5G modem and manufactured with 4nm process. New Qualcomm Adreno GPU performs 20% faster compared to the previous model. Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 has LPDDR5 RAM support.

Xiaomi will introduce Civi 2 on September 27 in China and we expect a global version of Civi 2 will be named as “Xiaomi 13 Lite” or “Xiaomi 12 Lite NE“. What do you think about Xiaomi Civi 2? Comment down below!
