The upcoming and much awaited POCO X4 GT series is finally on the horizon, as the POCO X4 GT series got licensed on the FCC’s official website. The FCC licensing gives us some information about the specs of the devices, and with the already existing leaks, we have a pretty solid idea of what the POCO X4 GT series will be like.
POCO X4 GT series licensed – specs & more
The POCO X4 GT series has already been teased without anyone noticing, as the upcoming the Redmi Note 11T series is just the Chinese variant of those phones, and vice versa. We recently reported about the specifications of the Redmi Note 11T series, and since the POCO X4 GT series will be a global rebrand of those phones as is usual for POCO devices, you can expect the exact same specs, though we will still talk about them in this article. So, let’s get to the FCC licensing first.
Both devices will feature a Mediatek Dimensity 8100, and will have two memory/storage configurations, one of them being 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage, while the other configuration will have 8 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of storage. The codenames of the devices will be “xaga” and “xagapro”, while the model numbers of the devices will be “2AFZZ1216” and “2AFZZ1216U”. The higher-end model will feature 120W fast charging, while the lower-end model will feature 67W fast charging. Both the POCO X4 GT and POCO X4 GT+ will have 144Hz IPS displays. You can check the FCC website for more details on the devices, here and here.
While POCO devices are usually rebrands of their Redmi counterparts, which are then released for the Global market, we expect the POCO X4 GT series to be quite successful. You can discuss more about the POCO X4 GT and X4 GT+ in our Telegram chat, which you can join here.
